About cookies

What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file, saved on your computer during a web site browsing. Cookies saves data so the website could read it on the following visits.

Why do we use cookies?
On this website, cookies gather anonymous data about the user behaviour, so they could provide statistics on visitors numbers, provenances and page visits and better focus the site’s future development.
 
How can cookies be deactivated?
It’s possibile to edit the browser’s preferences with a simple procedure to disable cookies.
 Firefox:
  1. Open Firefox
  2. Press the “Alt” key on the keyboard
  3. Select “Tools” and then “Options” on browser’s top bar
  4. Select the “Privacy” tab
  5. Go to “History Settings” and select “Use custom settings”, then uncheck “Accept cookies from sites”
  6. Press “OK” to save the changes
Internet Explorer:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on “Tools” and then “Internet Settings”
  3. Select the “Privacy” tab and set the desired level of protection (The highest level blocks every cookie, the lowest allows all)
  4. Press “OK” to save the changes
Google Chrome:
  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Click on the “Tools” icon
  3. Select “Settings” and then “Advanced Settings”
  4. Select “Content Settings” under the “Privacy” entry
  5. In the “Cookies” tab it is possible to disallow cookies and save the changes
Safari:
  1. Open Safari
  2. Select “Preferences” on the toolbar, then select the “Security” panel into the following dialog window
  3. It is possible when Safari should save cookies under the “Accept cookies” section. More informations are provided clicking on the help button with the question mark icon.
